News and Upcoming School Events

Delta One Martial Arts and Fitness Center, Inc. has many upcoming events for our students and school families. Refer to this page to find out about upcoming tournaments, promotion testing, school functions and other school related information.

We will also be posting news bulletins or other pertinent information regarding the school, its students, its instructors, or the Master. The calendar will also list these items as well. Make sure you print out the school calendar each month for easy reference.

Black Belt Reunion  8/28/10  (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
ATTENTION ALL PALLENS AND DELTA ONE BLACK BELTS! We will have our 2nd Annual Black Belt Reunion on Saturday, August 28th from 11:00 a.m. until we get tired. The event will be held at Hillcrest Park on Larkspur Drive in Antioch.

We will have Old School Black Belts vs. our New School Black Belts in Basketball, Football and in a Watergun Fight. We will also have food (potluck), drinks, and music. So don't miss this FUN event! Come out and see old friends and make some new friends as well.

School Closed  9/3/10
School closed for Labor Day Weekend, Friday, September 3rd - Monday, September 6th. Enjoy your weekend. We'll see you on Tuesday.

Buddy Week  9/7/10
Buddy Week is September 7th - September 9th. Bring your friends and let them see why you enjoy the martial arts so much. If they decide to join you'll receive $50.00 cash!

Qualification Sheets Due  9/10/10
Please don't forget to turn in your qualification sheet on time so you can belt test. Thank you!

Buddy Day Pizza Party  9/10/10  (6:00 PM - 7:30 PM)
Bring your friends from Buddy Week. We'll have pizza, drinks and games. Only people who brought their friends to Buddy Week for class are invited to this event.

Parents drop your children off and go out and have a good time, knowing they will be taken care of.

YET Meeting  9/11/10  (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
We will have our YET Meeting on September 11, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. If you would like to join you are more than welcome to come out. Let's plan a special dance for October.

For those who don't know, the Y.E.T. Program teaches our youth aobut money, business and finance.

Black Belt Instructor's Workout  9/11/10  (1:00 PM - 2:30 PM)
Black Belt Instructor's don't miss our workout. We will be going over new information for 2011. Please make sure you're there!

Tip Testing  9/15/10
Tip Testing is September 15th & 16th. Make sure you're practicing everyday and don't forget your tip goals.

Belt Testing  9/22/10
September 22nd & 23rd we will be belt testing. Bring your friends and family to share the special day with you. Also, please make sure you have the equipment, uniforms and other items you need if you are moving to the Sophomores our Juniors class.

COMMUNITY APPRECIATION DAY!  10/2/10  (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
Come out and enjoy as Delta One Marital arts, along with the other merchants in the Safeway Shopping Center on Deer Valley Road in Antioch, present to you our "Community Appreciation Day".

As a special thanks to our community for supporting us through out the years, we will be offering FREE hotdogs, FREE drinks and FREE chips. We will also have I.D. cards for the kids, a FREE children's self defense class, a FREE women's self-defense class, martial arts demonstrations and more!

The other merchants will be offering their own specials that day so make sure you come on out and have a great time.
